Shipping Information Questions & Answers:

 

Q. After placing my order, when will I receive it?

A. Where you live and your chosen shipping method determines when you will receive your order. When you place your order, you will be presented with several shipping options. Most people will receive the following options for shipping - Standard, Express Saver, UPS. Those who reside in the Greater Toronto Area will also have the option of selecting - In Store Pickup, GTA Delivery Service. Once your order has been placed and received, we process it and package it for shipping. Once your order has been shipped, the below indicates typical delivery times.

If you live in Ontario, Canada typical delivery times based on shipping method are as follows:

Delivery times for International orders may vary.

* PO Box, rural addresses and remote locations may take additional time to ship and cannot be given a guarantee for the arrival of your order. They may also be subject to additional shipping fees.  The typical shipping times quoted are as given by our shipping carrier.  These times are not within our control and any variance will be considered the responsibility of the shipping carrier. 

 

Q. Does Amazing offer same day shipping?

A. We make every effort to ship the same day we receive the order but this process is subject to a number of other factors such as the Shipping Carrier, Product Availability, etc. Orders within Canada that are made before 11:00AM (EST) Monday-Friday are often shipped the same day. During peak periods, we make every effort to ship out items as soon as possible, but timelines may be marginally longer than usual.

Same day shipping will not be applied to:

  • Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.
  • Orders for large props, special orders or items that are temporarily out of stock.

 

Q. What is the next day courier service?

A. Amazing Party & Costume is happy to provide a next day courier service for those that live in the Greater Toronto Area. The delivery service is available to those that reside in Oakville, Mississauga, Toronto, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham and Richmond Hill.

All orders must be received by 11am for delivery the following day. Orders received after 11am will be sent out the day following (ie. the second business day - eg. an order placed on Monday at 2pm goes out for delivery on Wednesday). Delivery times will be between the hours of 8am and 9pm. Specific delivery times cannot be arranged. Items going to residential addresses will be left in the door or mailbox. All apartment buildings and/or offices must include relevant unit numbers and buzz codes. Items that are undeliverable will be held at our store location for in-store pickup by the purchaser. If you have any special instructions for delivery, please include them in the 'notes' section as you place your order. In the event that a package cannot be delivered, no refunds will be provided for the shipping service.

Q. How does in-store pickup work?

A. When you place your order, you will be presented with several shipping options. One of those options is "In Store Pickup". For quickest results, we suggest you place orders for items that are 'In Stock', but we are more than happy to place special orders for items you have ordered (subject to supplier availability).

When your order has been fully processed, we will contact you letting you know your order is available for pickup. We ask customers to please indicate when ordering if you have any specific deadlines or requirements. We ask that clients only come to the store after they've been advised that their order is available for pickup. 

 

Q. Where can Amazing ship my order?

A. Our shipping carriers assure us that they can ship to any address in Canada and almost anywhere internationally. Additional surcharges may be applied to rural addresses and remote locations.  

 

Q. Does Amazing ship internationally?

A. Yes we do! When placing your order, you will be given the option of what carrier/service level you prefer for shipping. We'll package and prepare your items for you and contact you with a shipping quote based on your stated shipping preference. If you require a signature and/or tracking number (delivery options vary widely based on the destination country), please let us know in the order notes section when you place your order.

 

Q. What are the shipping and handling charges?

A. The following table explains how we calculate domestic shipping. Please note that shipping varies by region, package weight and dimensions:

Please Note:

All shipping fees are subject to verification. Due to the size and weight of some products, additional fees may be applied when these products are shipped.

 

Q. What happens if my order is lost during shipment?

A. All items purchased from Amazing Party and Costume fall under the commitments of a shipment contract. The risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

HALLOWEEN SHIPPING:

Please note that we recommend that all online orders that are required by Friday October 25th 2013, be placed by Monday October 21st at noon. We recommend that orders required by October 31st be placed by Sunday October 27th. Depending on where you live, you may still place orders after that date and receive your items in time, but our carriers cannot guarantee delivery times.

Orders shipped to most major urban centres throughout Canada take approximately 2-3 business days for delivery once shipped. Rural areas typically require 4-5 business days to deliver. 

For faster shipping options, please select 'Express Saver' or 'UPS' as shipping methods upon checkout. Next day and weekend delivery can be an option depending upon your location. Please refer to our Delivery Service page for next day courier options if you live in the Greater Toronto Area. Our carriers charge additional fees for these services.

Please include applicable deadlines or special shipping requests in the 'Order Notes' section during checkout. To avoid delays in shipping your order, we recommend that you order items that show that they are 'In Stock'. Please note that stock levels change rapidly and cannot be guaranteed. We will make every effort to fulfill your original request and will suggest related alternatives if the original cannot be sourced.

 

  

HALLOWEEN IN-STORE PICK-UP:

There is no specific in-store pick-up deadline for you to place your order, however, we do ask that you place your order with sufficient time for us to process it. Note that you will be contacted directly once your order is available for pick-up. We ask for your co-operation in claiming your order only after you've received confirmation that your order has been processed and is available for pick-up.
