How do I know the availability of an item?
Clicking on the thumbnail of an item will take you to the product's detail page. If the item's availability is listed as In Stock, you will then be able to add the item to your cart and it will be ready for shipment.

If an item is out of stock, can I still buy it?
The majority of our inventory will be listed as In Stock, however some popular items sell-out at peak times of the year and their availability will be listed as Temporarily Out-of-Stock. Please, feel free to contact us and our Amazing costumer service team will be happy to process your request and ship your order to you as soon as possible.

How do I find the right costume size?
The costume's detail page provides a sizing chart and general measurements. If you're unsure about the way a costume will fit, selecting a larger size is usually your best decision. Please be aware that superhero and other costumes with bodysuits are meant to have a snug fit.

What taxes will I have to pay?
Orders placed within Canada are subject to three types of sales tax: Provincial Sales Tax (PST), the federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). Every province except Alberta will have to pay either the PST or HST. The Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut do not pay any regional sales tax. Currently, only the provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia pay the HST.

Individuals and/or groups eligible for tax exemptions are required to pay any and all relevant taxes at time of purchase. This follows the recommendations as stated by the federal and provincial government requiring valid documentation. Additional information can be found here and here.

All international orders will not be taxed. Please, feel free to contact us and customer service will provide you with further information.

Which forms of payment does Amazing accept?
Amazing accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express or PayPal. We do not accept gift cards, personal checks, or cash.

How am I assured that my order has been confirmed?
Once you've completed your order you will be directed to confirmation page to confirm your purchase. In addition, you will also receive an email confirming your order, which acts as your receipt.

Does Amazing offer a volume discount?
Yes we do! Please contact us and our Amazing costumer service team will help process your request.

Does Amazing take special orders?
Definitely! At Amazing we pride ourselves on being able to source unique and sometime strange requests. Just contact us so our Amazing costumer service team will help make your idea happen.

What happens if an item is mispriced on your website?
We hate to say it, but mistakes do happen. As such, prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. In the event that a mispriced item's actual value is higher then the listed price, Amazing Party and Costume reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. We will either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

Shipping

What happens if my order is lost during shipment?
All items purchased from Amazing Party and Costume fall under the commitments of a shipment contract. The risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

Does Amazing offer same day shipping?
Yes we do. Orders within Canada that are made before 11:00AM (EST) Monday-Friday are shipped the same day.

Same day shipping will not be applied to:

  • International Orders.
  • Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.
  • Orders for large props, or Special Order items.

After placing my order, when will I receive it?
Depending on where you live and the method of shipping you have chosen, determines when you will receive your order.

If you live in the Canada, delivery times based on shipping method are as follows:

* PO Box, rural address and remote locations may take additional time to ship and cannot be given a guarantee for the arrival of your order. They may also be subject to additional surcharges/handling fees.

Does Amazing ship internationally?
Yes we do! Just contact us and our Amazing costumer service team will process your request and send your order to where ever you happen to be.

What are the shipping and handling charges?
The following table explains how we calculate domestic shipping and handling costs. Note that shipments are calculated based on weight and product dimensions. Oversized items may be subject to additional fees.

Please Note:
All orders are subject to verification. Due to the size and weight of some products, an additional handling fee is applied when these products are shipped. Items that incur an added surcharge/handling fee are clearly listed on the item's product detail page.

Where can Amazing ship my order?
Our Shipping carriers have assured us that they can ship to any address in Canada and almost anywhere internationally. Additional surcharges/handling fees may be applied to rural addresses and remote locations.

Returns

What is Amazing's return policy?
The majority of our products are supported by our Returns guarantee that provides a 14-Day grace period for the return of an item. Please be aware that refunds are given for the cost of merchandise only, return shipping charges are not refundable.

Products returned with missing items, that have been worn/used, altered, arrives without it's original packaging or garment tag is not applicable for a refund. Please check to make sure all of the pieces are included in the packaging before returning.

We DO NOT accept the following returns:

  • Special Order Items
  • Props that require special delivery
  • Fireworks
  • Any item that has been worn, used or altered

There may be a minimum 15% restocking fee for returned items that do not correspond to our regular return guidelines, this also includes unauthorized refusal of packages. A minimum 15% restocking fee is added to returns of more than five of one item ordered.

Certain items can only be returned if they are received in the original, unopened factory-sealed packaging. These items include:

  • Cosmetics
  • Fangs or any other fake teeth and prosthetics
  • DVDs and CDs
  • Party Supplies
  • Undergarments, stockings and socks
  • Shoes & Boots (Does not apply to one time wear, costume shoes designed for indoor use only, shoe covers, or boot tops)
  • Facial hair, wigs, beards, or any other artificial hair

Please note that a manufacturer may change the style of a costume without notice. Changes, no matter how minor, are beyond our control. As long as the item is returned following the above stipulations, we will gladly accept your return for any product that does not meet your satisfaction.

How do I send a return item(s) back?
Review our return policy (see above) to see whether your item is eligible for a refund. In order to return an item you will have to contact us, one of our Amazing costumer service representatives will issue you a Return Authorization Number (RAN). All returned items require a RAN that must be received within 14 days of the delivery date.

It is important to send your return through the means of a traceable shipping method. Amazing Party and Costume will not be responsible for refunding returned items where we don't receive the item and there is no ability to track the delivery.

Can I exchange what I ordered?
Sorry, but no. Due to our quick stock turn over, we do not offer exchanges. If you need a different size or costume, we ask that you place a new order for the replacement item(s) and return the item(s) you have already received. The reason for this is because the item you may want might be out of stock by the time we receive your return. All applicable policies apply to all returned items.

When will I obtain my refund?
Amazing generally processes returns within one week of receiving the return item. Halloween is a peak season and this process may take two to four weeks.

Yes we do. We take your business seriously and will use every precaution necessary to ensure that your shopping experience is safe and worry-free. We use industry standard technology, Secure Socket Layer encrypting, to keep your private information and credit card information as secure as possible.

What is Amazing.ca's privacy policy?
We will not sell, rent, or give away any customers' e-mail address to other businesses. We request your e-mail address so we can send you important information regarding your order (order confirmation, order processing, etc). We may e-mail you coupons or discount offers in the future.

If you have placed an order with our company and requested delivery by carrier, we will pass on your mailing address, for this purpose only, to recognized carriers such as UPS and Canada Post..

From time to time, we may wish to send you news of upcoming offers and sales or events that may be of interest. You may opt out of these mailings and we make every effort to ensure that your request is taken care of in a swift and efficient manner.

How do I remove my name from your mailing list?
If you supply us with your address online you may receive periodic mailings letting you know about new products and services. If you do not wish to receive these mailings, contact us by phone on 416-259-5959 or email and we'll remove you from our list.
